The School of Medicine has established the A. Eugene and Marie Washington Presidential Distinguished Chair, honoring outgoing Chancellor A. Eugene Washington and his wife. This endowed chair aims to recruit and retain outstanding faculty across various disciplines, including those aligned with the Duke Science and Technology initiative.
