March is Women's History Month, a time to honor and celebrate the contributions that women have made to society. This year's theme is "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories,”, in which Duke Today highlights the achievements of Dr. Erica Taylor (SOM), the first Black female orthopedic surgeon at Duke University, and Hyra Johnson, Duke's landscape superintendent in Facilities Management.
