Dr. Lee Baker Appointed Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education

Dr. Lee D. Baker (Cul Anth & AAAS) has been appointed Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Dr. Baker has been a member of the faculty for 30 years with long experience in leadership as Chair of the Arts & Sciences Council, Dean of Academic Affairs and Chair of Cultural Anthropology, among others. The position’s primary mission is to provide a transformative educational experience to all undergraduates at Duke by offering academic support, research and scholarly community, and experiential engagement opportunities.
