Dr. Tracie Canada awarded NSF Career Award

Following the publication of her book, Tackling the Everyday: Race and Nation in Big-Time College Football, Dr. Tracie Canada (Cul Anth) has been recently awarded a prestigious NSF CAREER award, The Science of Risk Assessment. The award provides Dr. Canada 5 years to study decision-making processes in adolescence and young adulthood regarding their risks of injury, especially concussion and brain trauma.
