Dr. Zakiyyah Iman Jackson named Thomas Langford Lectureship Awardee.
Dr. Zakiyyah Iman Jackson (Literature), was selected to give a lunchtime talk in the Provost’s Langford Lecture series in the 2024/25 academic year. Her research explores the literary and aesthetic aspects of Western philosophical and scientific discourse and investigates the engagement of African diasporic literature, film, installation, digital, and visual art with the historical concerns, knowledge claims, and rhetoric of Western science and philosophy.
