Professor Mark Anthony Neal: The Love Languages of Black Fatherhood

In the new essay titled “The Love Languages of Black Fatherhood.” Professor Neal (AAAS) shared that the concept pays homage to “The Five Love Languages,” categorizing five ways people give and receive love.The essay is  based on his experiences as a father to two daughters, depictions of black fatherhood in media and society, and  memories of his dad.
