WRAL releases documentary honoring MaryAnn Black's legacy
Warm. Giving. Caring. Compassionate. Those are just some of the adjectives used to describe the late State Rep. MaryAnn Black by people who knew and worked with her. Black was a career social worker in Durham who served on the county Board of Commissioners, worked as the associate vice president of community relations at Duke University Health System and served in the NC House of Representatives. The documentary premieres on WRAL-TV in Raleigh on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at 7:30 p.m, in Wilmington on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at 7 pm, and on FOX 50 on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at noon. Additionally, it is available for on-demand viewing on wraldocumentary.com, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire.
