Dr. Jay Pearson is the McLain Foundation Associate Professor of Public Policy and Sanford’s Associate Dean of Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Dr. Pearson started out in public health shifted to public policy as his specialization and is now particularly interested in the health effects of conventional and non-conventional resources associated with racial assignment, ethnic identity, national origin, immigration, and cultural orientations.
