Issues of race have always been central to the evolution of the American experience and in this moment race is probably the most prominent social issue being discussed and debated in America. Specifically, top of mind is the necessity of having people at the table who represent the variety of identities present in our communities in order to achieve excellence and foster innovation. In this discussion, we will examine the vital role of representation- in public perception, education, government, business and more- where we need it, and how it makes a difference in our experiences within race and society.
