Professor Trina Jones (Law), has been elected as the new chair of the Duke University Academic Council, the chief instrument of faculty governance, for a two-year term starting July 1. Jones, an expert on racial, socioeconomic, and gender inequality, is the fourth Law School faculty member to chair the council.
